Pelletier named to Canada’s U-18 Team

Wildcats forward Jakob Pelletier was one of twenty-two players named to team Canada’s U-18 team for the 2018 Hlinka Gretzky Cup.

Following the five day selection camp, it was announced yesterday that Pelletier was one of 13 forwards on the team who will take to the ice August 6-11 in Edmonton and Red Deer wearing the Maple Leaf.

Jakob turned heads during his first season in the QMJHL with the Wildcats. As a 16-year-old he played in 60 games, recording 23 goals and 38 assists while also being named to the QMJHL All-Rookie Team.

Jakob also represented Canada this past November at the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.
