The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and the Canadian Hockey League announced today the coaching staff and the roster of Team QMJHL which will compete against a delegation of Russian All-Stars in the 2007 ADT Canada-Russia Challenge.

r

Goaltender Nicola Riopel and defenseman Mark Barberio will represent the Moncton Wildcats at the annual event which plays a very important role in the selection process of Canada’s World Junior Hockey Championship and Under-18 Championship rosters

r

The Chicoutimi Saguenéens will host the first game of the series, on Monday, November 19, at the Georges-Vézina Centre. The second game will take place the following Wednesday at the Robert-Guertin Centre in Gatineau. Then, the Russian delegation heads west where it will play two games against the OHL and WHL all-stars.

r

All six contests will be televised nationwide on Rogers Sportsnet. RDS will broadcast the games which will be played in QMJHL markets.
