Vladimir Tkachev Traded to Quebec Remparts

Moncton NB – The Moncton Wildcats announce that #21 Vladimir Tkachev has been traded to the Quebec Remparts for 20 year old Taylor Burke and a 7th and 8th round pick in the 2015 QMJHL Entry Draft. Taylor is 6’1”, 200 Ibs and was the 7th overall pick in the 2010 QMJHL Entry Draft.  He’s from Halifax, Nova Scotia and is a former captain of the Gatineau Olympiques. 

Roger Shannon, Director of Hockey Operations for the Moncton Wildcats said, “We’re really excited for Vladimir to get an opportunity to play in Quebec and be part of the MasterCard Memorial Cup host team.  At this time we felt it was the right thing to do for our organization moving forward. We wish him well and thank him for his services. We look forward to Taylor coming in and providing strong leadership for our group.”

Vladimir added a spark to the Wildcats that will not soon be forgotten and the entire Moncton Wildcats organization would like to thank Vladimir for his time here and wish him the best of luck in Quebec.
