MONCTON N.B. – The Moncton Wildcats are excited to announce that the team has officially signed defenceman Jaxon Bellamy.
During this summer’s QMJHL Entry Draft the Wildcats used their top picks to add some key impact players that will be a part of the new era of Wildcats hockey. Jaxon Bellamy was selected 16th overall, one of Moncton’s two first round picks. “We are very excited to have Jaxon officially signed” said Director of Hockey Operations, Roger Shannon. “He has had a great summer and is coming into camp with a lot of confidence and cannot wait to get started in a Wildcat jersey.”
Fans will be able to see Jaxon on the ice next weekend, August 18-20th at the Superior Propane Centre as he takes part in the QMJHL Rookie Challenge.
