Wildcats top Armada 3-1 at home

The Wildcats pulled off an impressive win on Friday night in front of 4690 fans at the Avenir Centre over the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada.

Expecting to be a tight game, fans got quite the show with the decision coming in the final minutes of the game. It was a 0-0 game up until the 13 minute mark of the second when Jeremy McKenna got the first goal of the night on the power play. With momentum back and forth and time winding down it looked as though this one may stay as a 1-0 win, a little more than half way through the final frame the Armada would make it an even game once again.

As fans were bracing themselves for overtime Jakob Pelletier netted the game winning goal with less than a minute in regulation, and Dylan Seitz hit the empty net to seal the game.

Moncton outshot Blainville 38-24 with Francis Leclerc picking up the win for the Cats!
