Wojcik traded to the Remparts

The Moncton Wildcats have traded forward Anthony Wojcik to the Quebec Remparts for a ninth round pick in 2019.

Anthony joined the Wildcats during the Christmas trade period last season in a deal with the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies and appeared in the lineup for 30 games during the season.

Anthony was drafted to the league in the fourth round of the 2014 draft by the Charlottetown Islanders. He was traded to Rouyn, which is where he played for a season and a half before joining the team here in Moncton. The 19-year-old from St. Hubert Quebec will now join the Remparts as they gear up for the regular season.

Director of Hockey Operations, Roger Shannon had this to add. β€œOn behalf of the entire Wildcats organization we would like to thank Anthony for his time here in Moncton. I am happy to see him stay in the league, and we wish him all the best in Quebec.”
