It was another great performance tonight for your Wildcats as they put a 8-4 win in the books over the Chicoutimi Saguenéens, and are now 18-4-2-0 on the season!

It was a shaky start for the Cats as the home team scored a short handed goal only 1:19 into the first period, with what seemed like early momentum for the Saguenéens, Moncton was able to rally back and score five minutes later on a goal by Adam Capannelli. Before the end of the frame the Sags added one more goal to head to the dressing room with a 2-1 lead.

During the second Moncton came out flying and looked like a different team. They would go on to take control of this game and scored five unanswered goals, all within 13:55 minutes to go up 6-2 after 40 minutes. Second period goals went to: Alex Khovanov (2), Simon Le Coultre, Mika Cyr and Dylan Seitz.

Both teams would add a pair in the third, but the Moncton gap was too large for the Sags to overcome, making the final 8-4. Both Elliot Desnoyers and Jeremy McKenna added markers in the final frame for the Wildcats.

With the win Moncton is now tied for first overall in the QMJHL with the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies! The team will wrap up this Quebec road trip with a tilt against the Remparts at 8:00 p.m.
