A letter to our Season Ticket Members

To our Season Ticket Members,

We are thrilled to finally welcome you back for another exciting season of hockey!

We are looking forward to seeing you back at the rink and want to thank you for your patience during these unprecedent times.

This year, the hockey season will be a little bit different, as the ongoing situation with COVID-19 continues to evolve. The season has been shortened from 68 regular season games to 60 games, which means we will host 30 regular season games this year. All our games will be played against our five divisional rivals from the Maritimes.

There will also be new policies and modifications at the Avenir Centre to provide a safe environment for our players, staff, and fans such as yourself.

Social distancing guidelines include:

  • Every second row of seats will be unavailable.
  • All aisle seats will be unavailable.
  • Three seats (six-feet) of separation between groups of seats.
  • Doors will open one hour prior to puck drop.
  • Masks must be worn at all times, unless you are seated at your seats.
  • You must remain in your seats, other than for washroom or concession use.
  • All food and beverages must be consumed in your seats.
  • Group gatherings on the concourse will not be permitted.
  • Movement inside the building will follow directional and social distancing guidelines.
  • Standing areas for viewing will not be available.
  • Due to limited capacity, unused ticket redemption will not be available this season.
  • If someone else uses your tickets, you will be required to maintain contact information. by game date for contact tracing.

Building capacity has been reduced to roughly 25-percent. This will require seat location changes for our Season Ticket Members. We will be starting phone calls on August 24th by seniority, due to the short period of time to move all Season Seat members before puck drop on October 1st.

We anticipate during this transition, our phone lines will be busy as we reach out to all of you directly. As a result, it may be challenging to reach out to us by phone. Should you have any questions, we encourage you to connect with us by email at info@moncton-wildcats.com and we’ll follow-up with you as soon as we can.

Due to limited capacity, Season Seat members will only be able to purchase up to the same number of seats as they had during the 2019-20 season. Once we have gone through our current list of Season Seat members — you may purchase extra seats if available. We will return to 2019-20 seat locations, at the start of the first season in which we are once again able to welcome a full capacity crowd.

Unfortunately, with the limited number of seats available, we will not be offering flex tickets for the upcoming season. Once Season Ticket Members have been contacted, Flex 36 and Flex 50 ticket package holders will receive a phone call and be given the opportunity to purchase season tickets, if available.

After we have offered seats to all our Season Ticket Members and Flex Package Members, we will open up season tickets to more fans. If you know of anyone that wants to join us this season, tell them they can call us at (506)-858-2233 or email us at info@moncton-wildcats.com. We’ll place their name on a waiting list and contact them if additional tickets become available.

Pricing for the 2020-21 season will include a $75 + HST price increase on all season ticket packages (with the exception of youth 3-14 years old). Ticket revenue accounts for a large percentage of our business, and this season we are operating at reduced capacity. We have also made significant investments to enhance our health and safety procedures to best protect our community, fans, players and staff during events at the Avenir Centre.

If you signed a three-year price freeze agreement during the move to the Avenir Centre, this agreement will be honoured, and your price will remain the same as last season.

We have more information on the upcoming season available on our website, including the answers to some of your frequently asked questions, and pricing details for the 2020-21 season. Visit http://moncton-wildcats.com/2020-21-season-information

Looking forward to seeing everyone again soon,

The Moncton Wildcats
