Volts silence Wildcats 5-2 at home

The Moncton Wildcats owned a 2-1 first period lead but Drummondville rallied with a strong middle frame scoring 3 unanswered goals to pull away from the Wildcats 5-2 before 4200 fans at the Avenir Center on Friday night.

Vincent Labelle, with his 6th, and Yoan Loshing, with his 9th, gave the Cats that opening period lead but in the second period Drummondville outshot Moncton 16-4 and added three goals.

Tyler Peddle provided the empty netter with 1:11 remaining to seal the victory. The Voltigeurs have been improving — recording their 8th win in 11 games. The Wildcats moved to 9-7-0-1 on the season.
