Wildcats looking to even things up tonight in Game 4

The Wildcats’ first home game of Round 2 took a while to get going, with lots of shots but no goals through 40 minutes. Then WOW, what an ending — the Cats roared back in the 3rd period to make a game of it. A couple of goals, lots of big hits, and some bad blood spiced things up before Zachary L’Heureux iced the Mooseheads 4-2 win with an empty-netter.
Jacob Steinman made many highlight, game-saving stops — 30 in all — and even managed an assist on Oscar Plandowski’s rink-length race to pull us within a goal with 9 minutes left.
Thomas Auger put us on the board a few minutes earlier to make the loud crowd even louder!
Mathis Rousseau was strong in the Moose net, making 28 saves on many different Wildcats shooters.
The key tonight is pretty simple for the Cats — play like Game 3, but take advantage of those scoring opportunities like in Game 1.
The Avenir Centre is the scene again for Game 4. Come out and cheer on the Wildcats as we ‘Defend the Den’ and look to even the series with a win!
