Wildcats seeking Education Coordinator

The Moncton Wildcats are currently looking for an Education Coordinator.

The coordinator will be responsible for the academic progress of the team’s players, as well as providing education to the players. The Academic Coordinator must work closely with the Director of Hockey Operations, the coach and any other person among the team that is in charge of the education component in order to make sure that the players pursue their studies, in accordance with the QMJHL Education policy. The role is key to supporting the players to recognize and achieve their educational goals by assisting the players to examine school programs, to recognize their academic strengths and to select a major. The EducationCoordinator also works closely with professors and other administrators and stays up-to-date on academic program changes. Hours of work are typically 20 – 25 hours (half days, Monday to Friday) during the academic school year.
