2022 Cats Cup is set for September 18

Would your child like to spend the day playing ball hockey with the Wildcats? Here is your chance!

Registration is now open for the 2022 Cats Cup on Sunday, September 18! The tournament is open to children ages 5-10. You can sign up your individual or 3-person team by filling out the form below. Registration deadline is September 7, or when all spots are filled.

Following the ball hockey games there will be a free community BBQ, Wildcats autograph session, bouncy castles, french fry truck & live music at the Avenir Centre Oval!

Cats Cup Rules

All players MUST wear a helmet with facemask to play. Hockey gloves are also encouraged.
Games are 15 minutes in length
3 players per team
Games are played 3 on 3
3 points are awarded for a win. 1 point for a tie
The teams with the most points in each division will go to the final.
In case of a tie, we will look at the goals for and against differential.
Games are played with orange hockey ball
No Slapshots. Goals will not count if scored with a slapshot.
No off-side
The referee in place will make the calls
The goal for this tournament is to have FUN!
Age divisions are 5-6, 7-8 (Full) & 9-10 (Full)
